Higgins Roofing is an accredited CSR Roofing Specialist and one of Melbourne’s long-standing roof tile supply and installation businesses. We focus on installing Monier and Wunderlich roof tiles for builders, owner-builders, renovators and homeowners throughout Melbourne.
Our story dates back to 1964, when Barry Higgins began his roof tiling apprenticeship under his father, John Higgins. After a decade in the family business, Barry moved on to oversee some of Monier’s largest roofing projects, gaining deep expertise in tiled roof installation and project management along the way.
In 1976, Barry took that experience and founded Higgins Roofing as his own family enterprise. In the years since, the company has earned its reputation through accessibility, careful attention to detail and dependable service. Being family-run, Higgins Roofing works closely with customers at every stage — from quoting and tile selection through to final installation.
Barry was also instrumental in shaping the CSR Roofing Specialist program, serving as one of its founding members. This deep-rooted involvement underscores Higgins Roofing’s ongoing dedication to quality roof tiling, trusted materials and skilled workmanship.
Now operating across every suburb of Melbourne, Higgins Roofing continues to expand under the leadership of Barry’s son, Glenn Higgins, alongside longtime business partner Glenn Sanguinetti. The company’s focus remains unchanged: supplying and installing premium Monier and Wunderlich roof tiles for new builds, re-roofing jobs, restorations and roof extensions.
