The Higgins roofing story began in 1964, when Barry Higgins started his roof tiling apprenticeship under his father, John Higgins. After ten years working in the family roofing business, Barry went on to manage some of Monier’s larger roofing projects, building strong experience in tiled roof installation and project delivery.
In 1976, Barry established Higgins Roofing as his own family business. Since then, the company has built its reputation on accessibility, attention to detail and reliable service. As a family-run roofing company, Higgins Roofing provides direct support to customers throughout the quotation, tile selection and installation process.
Barry has also played an important role in the development of the CSR Roofing Specialist program, having been one of the foundation members of the initiative. This long-standing connection reflects Higgins Roofing’s commitment to quality roof tiling, trusted products and professional workmanship.
